PRTools toolbox
PRTools supplies about 200 user routines for traditional statistical pattern recognition tasks. It includes procedures for data generation, training classifiers, combining classifiers, features selection, linear and non-linear feature extraction, density estimation, cluster analysis, evaluation and visualisation. It is intended to aid students and researchers in designing and evaluating new algorithms and in building prototypes.
PRTools can be freely used for academic research, as well as for inspection purposes under the following license. For commercial use, a site-license is available.
The present version, PRTools 4.0, has been extensively upgraded from version 3.1.7. It is not entirely compatible with this previous release, as it includes many new possiblities. Examples are the use of soft labels (in addition to crisp labels) and resdesigned definitions of the programmatic classes mapping and dataset.
