The open nature of PRTools makes it very simple to add new classifiers and extend the usability of the toolbox. Some extra toolboxes are developed enough to make them publically available.
Data Description Toolbox
The data description toolbox dd_tools wants to provide tools, classifiers and evaluation functions for the research of one-class classification (or data description). More info is available from David's homepage or from the dd_tools webpage.
perClass
perClass (formerly-called PRSD Studio) is a software toolkit for design and deployment of industrial pattern recognition systems. It consists of the Matlab-based perClass Toolbox and the C-based execution runtime which can be easily embedded in custom applications.
perClass is not dependent on PRTools but it provides strong compatibility with PRTools. For example, bringing interactive scatter and image plots, ROC analysis, classifier cascades and fast execution of PRTools classifiers. Free version available.
